Behind Closed Studio Doors

The creative process does not always begin with a clear painting. Sometimes the starting point is an impulse, a thought, or an observation that gradually develops and takes shape. Before the first sketch appears, the idea goes through a stage of internal work, organisation, and selection. Only then is it transferred onto paper and begins to function as a visual project. The entire process is based on conscious decisions and experience, leading from an abstract premise to a precisely developed final work.

Discover a World of Symbols and Emotion

Tomasz Alen Kopera

In his work, nothing is obvious or presented at face value. His approach to painting is rooted in ambiguity, the tension between form and meaning, and the conscious development of his own visual language. Each work forms part of a broader way of seeing the world, where symbol, emotion, and detail carry equal weight. It is a perspective that does not simplify and does not seek ready-made answers.
