About the Artist

Tomasz Alen Kopera’s work grows out of a careful observation of the world and a need to give form to what is not immediately obvious. His paintings do not offer simple narratives or clear-cut answers. Instead, they create a tension between symbolism, emotion and precisely constructed form, inviting the viewer into an individual experience and interpretation.

The artist works primarily in oil on canvas. His painting technique, developed over many years, is defined by precision, close attention to detail, and a deliberate use of light and colour. Every element within the painting serves a specific purpose, while the composition itself is the result of consistent, thoughtful decisions rather than chance.

Kopera’s distinctive style allows him to create coherent, self-contained visual worlds in which realism meets imagination, and form meets emotion. His paintings remain open to interpretation, while at the same time retaining an internal logic and formal discipline that gives the works a timeless quality.

I paint to hold attention for longer.
To create a space for reflection, not for a quick answer.
